When are failed payments reattempted?

A payment can fail or be unsuccessful for a number of reasons but no need for concern the team at Payleadr will reattempt these payments and follow this up for you.

If the payment arrangement is set up to weekly frequencies we will reattempt the missed payment with the following weeks payments.

 

Any other payment frequencies such as fortnightly or monthly etc, we will reattempt the payment 2 days after the failed payment. We will not wait 2 weeks or a month to reattempt the failed payment.

 

Please note that payments can fail for a number of reasons, the most common being:
  • Incorrect account/card details provided;
  • the account provided does not permit direct debit payments;
  • the card provided has expired;
  • insufficient funds; or
  • your bank has blocked transactions on your chosen payment method.
